At my 97 year old father’s funeral, I was asked to say something about my dad. The most significant thing I said was that I always knew that I was loved & liked by my Heavenly Father because I knew that I was loved by my earthly dad. I never questioned God’s love or care for me because of what I received from my dad. But that was not true for my older sister & 2 brothers. They each had an immense father wound - which is why I was asked to speak. My heart aches for my 2 brothers who are still alive & the father wound that has had decades to fester on the inside! We 5 siblings all had the same dad, (I was the 2nd daughter) but experienced him very differently.

Having that father wound highlighted in your article brings a sweet reminder to me as to how to pray for them. Thank You!!
